    Great product to keep my new car clean
    I am very shall we say OCD about keeping my vehicle clean. INSIDE AND OUT! So when I recently bought a new Equinox, I have been extra digilant about it. I went to Walmart to get a trash can that hung behind the passenger seat head rest. Well that was a bust. It hung floppy, no lid, and you could see the trash in it through the windows. Even when I added Velcro, the tape didn’t stick, and it hung open. It was just an eyesore also, hanging there. I came here and saw several to choose from. Read the reviews, and like the sturdiness of this can, and the fact that I can put it behind the console between the two seats. Easy to reach while driving and not have to turn to do it. It is very sturdy, has hangers for a bag, and easy peasy to clean. One bag out, the other bag in. ALSO WATERPROOF in case of spills. It fits perfectly and is not an eyesore hanging on the back of the headrest like the other one was. Love it, and love the fact that it has a lid that closes so you don’t see the garbage that is in it.

    Very convenient!!
    I got this for my car and my car is never a mess anymore. I use small bags in it (4 gallon trash bags). The lid stays on great and it’s very sturdy. The square shape is great for where it goes in the car. I do wish it was a little bigger when I’m using it as a cooler but any bigger and it would be too big for a trash can in your car. Works great! Only problem I have is that I don’t quite know exactly how to put it on. I got it to work but there are parts hanging down and I don’t know where they should go. And some hooks hanging and I don’t know what those are for. But since I got it to hold steady there, I’m not worried about anything else!

    Decent car trash with a few minor issues.
    This trash can is good. It’s not too big or too small and fits well inbetween the back seat floor area. I like that it has flaps on the cover to keep trash in, help with bad smells, not see the trash inside etc. I like that it has storage nets on the sides and little hooks to keep the bag in place. It holds regular shopping bags well so you can reuse them. The shopping bag handles clip into the side hooks. The reasons I took a star off is because the strap that hangs from the center consol is too think and wide. My console can’t properly close/open with the strap there. There is also a long string with a hook on the bottom to keep the trash from moving around if hanging from the back of a seat. While I love the idea that the trash bag can be used in multiple locations(hang off center console, back of seat or shifter) if you hang it off the center console there is no place to hook the long hook string in my car. I guess I could try to hook it under my seat but I think it would look wierd and is unnecessary. It seems to stay put well on its own when used with the center console. However I beleive the hook is needed if used to hang off the seat. I was thinking about just cutting it off but haven’t decided. So I think it depends on where your hanging it and on your car. Also it doesn’t keep shape completely without some trash in it. When it’s not open all the way you can see the trash because the cover doesn’t close all the way around. I’m not going to return it. I’m still debating if I want to keep it in my car or try it in my boyfriends car. Overall I think its a decent car trash but it depends on how your going to hang it. Fast shipping.

    Love having a small trash ca in the truck, however, the bottom always ends up folding together even when you have the velcro strapped to the metal side supports.You will need to put a piece of cardboard across the bottom to prevent this.It is made well though, and was cheap compared to others

    It was nice for traveling. It does have metal bars to give the can it’s rectangle shape and you l to hold the trash. It worked great!

    Great car trash system!
    Apparently it’s not a good look to have a pile of empty kombucha cans rattling around on the backseat floor. My previous pop-up style trash can just wasn’t cutting it, so I opted to try something new.This trash system attaches to the back of a headrest with a plastic buckle clip. I like how it’s elevated so I don’t have trash on the floor. It’s also helped me remember to empty it more often because it’s in my line of sight. I have it hanging behind the passenger seat and I can easily (and safely) reach over to deposit trash while driving.This item seems to be constructed similarly to a vinyl lunchbox. The inside is lined with smooth malleable plastic material and easy to rinse out and clean.Overall 5 stars: There are some straps and ties that don’t have an obvious [to me] purpose, but I just cut them off.

    I was looking for a car trash can since there’s always a wrapper or tissue to throw out, and this was my choice because of price and the functional lid.It was a bit tough to put around the centre console lid (I have a Toyota XLE) and it ended up fitting over the top tray, so opening only the top of the console and not the deeper part. It took some finessing but it’s worked perfectly ever since. It’s out of the way of all passengers, and I managed to fit a tissue box in one of the side mesh pockets – it stays there easily, even with awkward tissue pulls from the front seat – and I keep extra liner bags (small bags we get from takeout, etc) in the other mesh pocket.The long strap with the hook that may be used to secure it under a seat I do not use, but I do not see it to be an issue either. You can weave it around the other strap, or you can fold it into a bundle, secure it with an elastic, and tuck it in a mesh pocket. It’s never in the way.I cannot speak to the leak-proof level of the bag since I haven’t had anything spill in it, but the material inside appears to be leak-proof indeed. I have full confidence that if something does leak, it will not escape the confines of this container.The thing I love about it is the way the lid is made. It flips up and is secured with velcro for easy trash removal, yet the top has semi-firm flaps that you push trash through, and it keeps it secure in there, even on bumpy pothole-ridden roads. The metal side handles that help to hold liner bags are a great bonus too.
