    Does not hurt
    Prior hoops have hurt my ears just wearing them solo. How ever, I have to wear headphones most of my day for work and these do not hurt my ears nor my head while wearing them. I really appreciate how light weight and the size variations that they came in.

    Super simple hoops and I’m glad these are cheap! Haven’t had any bad reactions to the cheap metal except… the back of the earring. It closes SO tight around the post that it squishes my lobes. It’s painful. Luckily these stay on pretty well when the latch is a bit to the side of the post so it’s not clamping down on the ear!

    Zero stars. Infections.
    Never have I had an infected piercing. Never. And most of my earrings are cheap: Walmart, claires. So I got these. After a day or two of use, my left ear started to become irritated, then swollen, then there was fluid leaking from my piercing. It was horrendous. So I sanitized the earrings, gave my piercing time to heal.I tried them again, this time both my ear piercings became infected. Absolutely horrible. Because I’d never had an earring cause an issue, I was slow to realize it was these hoops. However, after allowing my piercings to heal a third time, I wore only my Sterling silver studs. No more infections.Whatever is on these is vile.
