    Great Protection
    This is fantastic. It’s easy to set up and provides great coverage. The material is durable and does an excellent job of keeping the car cool. It’s also convenient to store when not in use. Overall, a practical and effective solution for protecting your car from the sun.

    Insanely durable and completely blocks out the sun
    I have a 2011 Subaru Outback and it fits great! It may be SLIGHTLY larger than my windshield, but it works perfect and does the job. I didn’t notice before I purchased that it has a slit for your rear view mirror, which is fantastic! Why don’t all covers do that? I swear, the second I cover it up, my entire car goes pitch black…I did get my windows tinted before it came, but still! Just add it to your cart already, you won’t be disappointed!

    A little difficult to open but blocks sun
    This is my first umbrella type sun shield. My old aluminum z-fold crumbled into whitish powder and others I had weren’t tall enough to stay under the visors. This is clunky to open as the handle wiggles, I guess to get it out of the way. I find it difficult. The whole mechanism is made of hard plastic so I expect with the intense heat inside a car, it will shatter in a few years. In the meantime, however, it does completely block light out of the front windshield. I have a Subaru sedan, 2013. The umbrella is too big by about 4 inches on the top and sides. However, it is flappy enough to jam that part under the visors and it stays in place. It’s pretty easy to collapse, like an umbrella. I’ve only had it a few weeks.with that in mind, I recommend it if your old shields collapsed into the front seat while you were away. There is a slot cut into the umbrella for your rear view mirror. If you have a handicap card or anything big hanging there, it doesn’t fit and gets knocked off.

    Convenient Storage, But Not the Most Durable
    I bought the Car Windshield Sun Shade Umbrella hoping it would be a neat solution to the usual bulkiness of traditional sunshades, and in terms of storage, it definitely delivers. It’s compact and folds up like an umbrella, making it super easy to tuck away in the side compartment or under a seat when not in use.However, ease of storage is about where the perks end. While the initial setup isn’t too complicated, the umbrella mechanism isn’t as durable as I’d hoped. After about five uses, the arms of the umbrella started to bend slightly, which means it no longer fits snugly against the entire windshield. This kind of defeats its purpose since any gaps allow sunlight to sneak through, heating up the car interior more than I’d like.I still use it because it provides partial shade and is better than nothing, but once it’s worn out, I’m planning to switch back to a traditional windshield cover. Those might be a bit bulkier, but they tend to hold up better over time and provide complete coverage.For anyone considering this product, it’s a decent option if you prioritize storage space and convenience over longevity and robust performance.

    Easy to use
    I’ve had several sun shades in the past that are a puzzle to collapse or take a ton of room to store in the vehicle. This shade is neither. It’s super easy to setup and take-down and fits nicely in the case.

    Game changer
    I usually don’t write reviews because I just don’t have the time to, but I will say this has been a great purchase and worth every penny. I switched over to a new car and never have had black interior before. All of my other cars in the past have been a white interior so it definitely has made a huge difference when the sun is out. I did some research and found that this Windshield shade had the best ratings so I gave it a try and it definitely is a game changer! It literally took two seconds to open. I will say you have to slowly open it but make sure you position it prior to open it. I didn’t have visors because I could just snap it around my review mirror and it just stayed in place. I’m buying another one for my mom and dad. Love this and I’ll be honest, within about 15 seconds after I had placed it, I definitely felt the temperature cooling down even just a couple of seconds! Worth every penny!

    Absolutely amazing but broke after a few months
    Initial review from purchase made in August 2024-I had never liked the traditional sunshades as I’ve always had difficulty twisting them closed or found them bulky. This was absolutely perfect. In the hot Texas summer heat it made my hot trek from the house to the car bearable with my car being 20 degrees cooler than outside most days when I got in it. It made my AC not have to work so hard to cool my car down. I raved to my family and friends about it and recommended they get one!Update as of October 22, 2024-Today, it broke at the top where the shade meets the stick to open it. I use it everyday but am careful with it when I take it down and place in on my seat next to me as I rarely have any passengers in my car. The piece connecting the shade cracked at the bottom making the stick unable to be secured to it to continue using it.

    Great product, but it’s a little wonky
    Love the ease of using the product! Since it’s like an umbrella, it’s easy to undo. But I will say the joints are a little wonky. It’s still useable, but I know it’ll probably break one of these days. See photos for bowed joints

    El producto es muy bueno y practico aunque hay un par de puntos que no me agradaron y por el cual le doy 4 estrellas y no 5:1.- el boton para desplegar el parasol es somamente duro, en ocaciones necesitas ambas manos para poder precionarlo.2.- al ser el sistema similar al de un paraguas, cuanta con rayos y no es posible que tenga una avertura para el espejo rotrovisor como practicamente todos los parasol de auto, por lo que queda presionado el espejo contra el parasol.
