    Excellent hand mixer
    This tool purees food completely and so quickly. It is hefty and powerful. The mixing container that comes with it keeps liquid from splashing ( filled about half way full). I am on a liquid diet for a while following surgery and I am thrilled that this allows me to eat a wide variety of foods by pureeing them.Since the tool is larger than many other hand mixers, it is very easy to clean. I use a rag, and then a toothbrush to clean the blades. The blades are sharp, so don’t get your fingers in there!

    Feels high quality and quickly blends soup to smooth texture
    I had previously bought a $20 immersion blender from Amazon that didn’t work very well and ended up collecting dust in the cupboard. We decided to spend a little more and bought this one, and it’s well worth the price difference! It immediately feels weighty and high quality in the hands and has a really helpful protector for the end that protects your pans.I just used this for the first time to blend butternut squash soup, and it worked like a charm. We were satisfied with the results after ~two minutes, and I’m sure we could have gotten it to a very silky smooth texture if we had kept at it. I will not be going back to the hassle of transferring from the pot to a blender and back. I highly recommend this product!

    Powerful, yet quiet, and super easy to clean
    I am in love with this blender wand! Very easy to use and I can make very smooth puree for my baby. I used to move my baby to the second floor whenever I used my old blender to make baby food because it was so loud and it scared my baby. This new blender is so much quieter and my baby does not mind the sound at all. It is also much easier to clean than my old blender.

    A nice replacement for an older plastic hand blender
    This hand blender is the right size to mix things in large pots, and it’s easy to clean. Our old plastic-bodied model cracked and stained easily. The depth was better than our previous blender, and the power seemed very good. I had hoped that the handle would not need to be the bulk of the blender, but it was still ok. The blender also mixed things in the pot very quickly and efficiently, so that was very nice. I made apple butter without peeling the apple, and it was not possible to see the peels. I was anticipating it to look a bit like whole wheat bread versus white bread, but it was as though there were no peels at all. This has been very nice to have in the kitchen.

    KitchenAid Immersion blender that is quiet and has good attachments.
    I just purchased this KitchenAid Variable Speed Corded Hand Blender KHBV53 in matte black. I use this 1-2 times a week. I ordered this immersion blender because my old Cuisinart blender(s) just stopped working. I have had two of those that have broken over time. They both eventually shorted out and they began to smoke. Time to move on!I decided to try the KitchenAid model because of the excellent reviews and because there is only one button to push to blend. I also like the rubberized pan guard because I usually use this immersion blender to make creamy soups, and the enamel coated surfaces of my high-end pots could get scratched by exposed spinning metal blade. I like how easy it is to attach the blender to the motor and how easy it is to attach the pan guard. The unit goes together and comes apart quickly. What really surprised me is how quiet this blender is compared to the Cuisinart model. I think they are comparable in weight and size.Another cool feature is the measuring cup with lid. This makes it very easy to make smoothies and salad dressings, and to store them. The lid fits snuggly and makes the measuring cup useful. This was a well thought out package.     Very powerful, easy to clean.
    I had used an older hand held blender before, but was not too impressed. Because of the rampant tomatoes this fall, I was tired of transferring my tomato soup to my blender & then back into the sauce pan. So I splurged on this KitchenAid blender. It’s powerful! It feels like a power construction tool in the hand. And unlike the older hand blender I used previously, this blender had no problem blending the tomato skins into oblivion. I didn’t quite get the hang of the variable speed, but I didn’t need low anyway. I like it & I would happily purchase this again.

    This is NOT usable in India. Shocking how this is being sold without clarity about voltage restriction. I bought it seeing such good reviews… but now I realize these are reviews from outside of India. The negative reviews are from the buyers in India. So misleading, dissapointing and a WASTE OF TIME!

    Me encantó ésta batidora de inmersión Kitchenaid. Tiene un color hermoooso, es super ligera y manejable. Funciona bastante bien. Por el tamaño que tiene es muy fácil hacer tu mayonesa y salsas directamente en un bote.
